Desborough beat Iver Heath by eight shots in friendly
Three teams returned winning cards as Desborough beat Iver Heath by eight shots (99-91) in a six-rink triples friendly match over the weekend.
Two of their successful rinks were skipped by Dave Perriman and Sam Stack, but performance of the day belonged to June Palmer, Mark Essex and Brian Faulkner who won by an impressive 24 shots.

London Scottish Bowling Association were the next to visit Green Lane, and, although Desborough made a strong start, it proved unsustainable as they went down to a 23-shot defeat (112-135).
Two of their rinks, skipped by John Davis and Brian Faulkner, managed to draw, and captain for the day, David Webster skipped his team to a four-shot win. However, top rink honours went to Linda Davis, Vijay
Sandal, Sam Stack and Roger Wyatt who won by six shots (26 – 20).
