Jenny Eclair: Sixty! (FFS!) Tour Warm Up Norden Farm
Stand-up comedian Jenny Eclair will be confronting growing old disgracefully as she brings her show to Norden Farm this August.
The star will be taking to the stage with Sixty! (FFS!) Tour Warm Up on Wednesday, August 24 at 8pm.
Having turned 60, Jenny – AKA ‘The Face of Vagisan’ – is confronting a ‘new decade of decrepitude’.
Now it takes 20 minutes of scrolling to find her date of birth when she’s filling in online forms, should she celebrate or crawl into a hole?
Jenny was the first woman to win the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival in 1995.
She has since also found fame as the author of five critically acclaimed novels.
Her latest book, Older and Wider – A Survivor’s Guide to the Menopause, a Sunday Times bestseller, was released in 2020.
In 2018, Jenny’s stand-up show How to be a Middle-Aged Woman (without going insane) sold out venues in the UK and as far as Australia.
She is also known for her podcast Older and Wider, ITV’s Loose Women, BBC Two’s Grumpy
Old Women, and reality shows including ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Join her as she asks what her sixties will hold and whether it is a legal requirement to buy Nordic walking poles.
The show will take place in the small studio theatre, with tickets priced at £12.
Tickets are available at the Box Office on 01628 788997 or online at: www.nordenfarm.org
