Tool allows young people to report an image or video shared online
Report Remove is a tool provided by Childline and the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF).
It allows young people to report an image or video shared online, to see if it is possible to get it taken down.
It keeps the young person informed at each stage of their report and provides further support where necessary.
Find it at www.childline.org.uk/infoadvice/bullying-abuse-safety/onlinemobile-safety/remove-nude-image-sharedonline
Childline can also be contacted by calling 0800 1111.
For adults, visit Stop NCII (NonConsensual Intimate Images). This website helps to remove non-consensual intimate images online.
If the victim has the original image and is over 18 they can ‘Create a Case’ and submit the image to Stop NCII, which works on removing the image.
The image never leaves the victim’s device; a digital fingerprint for the image is created so it can be identified on participating websites and be removed. Find the website at stopncii.org
