-

The Chilterns League campaign came to a halt on Saturday with most of the major relegation and promotion permutations having already been settled.

All promotions and relegations from the leagues are still to be ratified by the management committee, however, as it stands, Ley Hill are to be promoted to the Thames Valley Cricket League as champions ahead of runners-up Holmer Green. Great Kingshill will be demoted to the Premiership as it stands.

In the Premiership, Cadmore End claimed the title after their 124-run victory over Hurley – who'll be relegated – however, their promotion is subject to meeting ground criteria. The Lee will also be relegated alongside Hurley to Division 1.

They're set to be replaced in the Premiership by Holyport – who cantered to the Chilterns League Division 1 title – and Wendover, who won the Mid Bucks League. Little Marlow finished runners-up to Holyport in Division 1. At the other end of the table, Littlewick Green 2nds and Chalfont St Giles 2nds face relegation to Division 2, with Division 2 champions and runners-up Emmbrook & Bearwood 2nds likely to replace them.

Braywood finished sixth in the Championship following their final day defeat to Penn & Tylers Green.

Chasing 287-7, Braywood were bowled out for just 159 in 34.4 overs.

The final action in the Premiership saw Pinkneys Green finish third after beating Monks Risborough by sixwickets. Having bowled out Risborough for a paltry 94, Green chased down their target in 25.4 overs.

In the same division, Littlewick Green signed off with a surprise 48run defeat to The Lee, who’d already been relegated.

Champions Holyport picked up their 15th win of the season with a thumping 202-run win over Littlewick Green 2nds.

Batting first, Port put on a mammoth 350-6, with Mohammad Qasim scoring 86 and Mahmood Ul Hassan scoring 84, before Littlewick were dismissed for 148 in the 41st over.
