Shoebox art at junior craft event

BOURNE END: A junior craft show will return to the village in a few weeks for its 10th anniversary, with new classes and awards on offer to mark the occasion.

The Bourne End Junior Craft Show will take place on Saturday, October 1 at Bourne End Library in Wakeman Road.

New classes at the free event will include ‘scene in a shoebox’ and ‘location location location’, where participants are invited to submit a piece of their favourite spots in the area.

Entries should be dropped off between 9.30am and 11am on the day, or the day before between 3pm and 5pm.

All items entered must be accompanied by a completed entry card. These can be printed out from bejuniorcraftshow.co.uk

A selection of art prizes, rosettes and trophies will be presented to winners.
