Maidenhead: More than 600 young

Maidenhead RFC played host to more than 600 youth team players from the local area this weekend.

It was a celebration of rugby as the Maidenhead RFC Minis’ Festival 2022 took place in glorious Autumn sunshine at Braywick.

A total of 54 teams entered from Maidenhead RFC, Henley RFC, Windsor RFC, Beaconsfield RFC, and Reading Rams RFC in age groups ranging from u7’s to u12’s.

“It is important to remember this is a festival

and not a competition,” said Maidenhead RFC Chairman, Stephen Bough.

“These events provide a valuable assessment of the standards of our young club players, some of whom will go on to be the representative stars of tomorrow.
