Half term family fun Norden Farm

From Halloween themes to dance and a magical den, there are whole worlds to explore this October half term. With live shows, films and spooky Halloween themes – there’s plenty to choose from.

Snuggle up in a magical den with Honk, Splash and TaWit TaWoo as they teach The Naughty Fox a valuable lesson: it’s better to share.

Set in the magical forest, Fox goes on an adventure as he learns from the Aurora that sharing is caring.

This multi-sensory world of puppetry, includes music, light projection, and bubbly energy, as two storytelle­rs bring household objects to life. This relaxed and accessible family show is on Tuesday, October 25 at 11.30am and 2pm. Suitable for ages up to five years.

Spy Monkey is a new comedy dance film featuring popular characters from the Indian epic The Ramayana. Meet the Spy Monkey film characters, uncover a secret trail and take part in Hip Hop and contempora­ry South Asian dance in this entertaini­ng show. See it on Wednesday and Thursday, October 26 and Friday, October 27 at 11.30am and 2pm. Suitable for ages four and above.

Spooky Concertini with Johnny and the Raindrops brings the magic of live music to young audiences on Saturday, October 29 at

11.30am and 2pm. Suitable for babies and up to eight years. The band plays gigs for cool kids and their families. They perform spooky songs five Halloween worms, the monster with 12 belly buttons and a bat with the broken wing.

Children can create spooky-themed arts and crafts on Friday, October 28 at 11am. Tickets are £5 per child, suitable for ages three to eight years. With the chance to make a Dangling Ghost Wand or a Spooky Mask, the creations are perfect for trick or treat.

Family films during half term include Tad the Lost Explorer and The Curse of the Mummy (U) and a 10th anniversar­y rerelease of ParaNorman (PG).

With free parking on site and the cafe/bar serving adult and children’s menus, it's a great place to be entertaine­d and hang out.

Tickets for live shows are £12, £10 under 16s, Family and Friends deal (four people) £40. Family films are £9/£7 under 16s, Family and Friends (four people) £28.
