Hundreds of residents gathered outside the Town Hall in Maidenhead last week to pay their respects to the fallen.
On Armistice Day on Friday, an Act of Remembrance was held at the war memorial outside Maidenhead Town Hall, led by the mayor, Cllr Christine Bateson. Maidenhead MP and former Prime Minister Theresa May was among those in attendance along with council figures.
This was followed by another service on Remembrance Sunday, with cannons firing to mark the start of a two-minute silence at 11am.
