Flood objection was for Strande Park

Last week’s front page report on the High Court renewal hearing for the Borough Local Plan legal challenge incorrectly reported that the Environment Agency had objected to the allocation of 2,600 homes on Maidenhead Golf Course due to flooding concerns.

The Environment Agency had, in fact, objected to a different allocation in the Borough Local Plan – Strande Park in Cookham – due to the flood risk.
