Runners ready to go red
DORNEY: Hundreds of Santas are expected to descend on Dorney
Lake this weekend in support of a Maidenhead Alzheimers charity.
A sea of red will take part in a Santa Fun Run on Sunday in aid of Alzheimers Dementia Support, also known as ADS.
This event is suitable for all ages and abilities; anyone can join in, while dogs are welcome and there are prizes for the best dressed team and family.
Other entertainment will include an inflatable
Santa and the chance to meet Father Christmas, and refreshments such as waffles and hot drinks will keep everyone refreshed.
Nysa Harris, director of operations at ADS, said: “This is our key annual fundraising event where everyone is welcome to register, including local companies.
“We’d love to see as many Santas as possible around the lake, having fun and raising awareness”.
