Crews rescue person from wedged narrowboat
TAPLOW: Firefighters were called to Taplow riverside yesterday (Wednesday) morning after a boat lost power and became wedged against another vessel.
Crews from Maidenhead, Slough and a water rescue unit from Reading attended the scene on the River Thames near Mill Lane shortly after 10am.
A narrowboat had lost power and ended up broadsided against another boat.
Firefighters secured the stranded vessel with a mooring line and the person on board was able to clamber to safety.
