Two injured when cars collided

FURZE PLATT: Two people were injured in a two-car collision in Cranbrook Drive on Monday afternoon.

Firefighte­rs from Maidenhead and Windsor fire stations were called to the scene at 12.43pm after being notified by South Central Ambulance Service.

Two casualties were reported by Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, with firefighte­rs providing ‘immediate emergency care’ to one of them. Crews were on the scene for more than an hour whilst they provided assistance, cleared the road and made the vehicles safe.
