Park illuminated as trail returns
Windsor: Festive attraction includes lit-up Windsor Castle
A magical light trail featuring a glimmering display of Windsor Castle has opened in the Great Park.
Windsor Great Park Illuminated has seen the park’s woodland and water near the Savill Garden transformed into a sparkling spectacle.
The trail features six large-scale flood-lit water fountains adorning the Obelisk Pond as well as a 30metre tunnel of light.
The attraction also includes a 10-metre light installation of Windsor Castle itself.
Visitors can also see shimmering interactive fireflies, holographic deer, birds and wildlife accompanied by realistic surround sound.
The experience, created by global events firm IMG, has returned for a second year after making its debut in Windsor Great Park in 2021.
The attraction will be open until January 2.
