Crown land not under Borough Local Plan

On page 10 of November 17’s issue a ‘council spokesman’ is quoted repeating that disingenuous cliché that the BLP ‘still protects 82 per cent of the borough as greenbelt’.

By including in this figure Crown property – including Windsor forest – over which the council does not have commercial rights he gives a totally false impression of the extent of this so-called protection.
