Furry friends and cute critters could win their very own photoshoot – as well as some tasty goodies – as part of the Advertiser’s Top Pet competition.

Readers now have until Friday, June 9 to submit their entries for this year’s search for the area’s favourite pet.

The competition is not restricted to traditional pets like cats and dogs.

There are no classes or entry criteria apart from the requirement for all entries to be domestic pets – no matter how weird or wonderful.

The Top Pet winner will receive a photoshoot for them and their pet with an Advertiser photo- grapher and a framed 8”x10” pho- tograph of choice from the shoot.

This year, Pets at Home in Stafferton Way will throw in a

5kg box of assorted treats from its pick ’n’ mix section worth £17.99 if the winning entry is a dog, or an alternative of equal value for a non-dog winner.

To submit your entry simply email your photo to us (sorry, no posted photos) showing your pet in all its glory.

Include with it, your name, your pet’s name and your daytime telephone number.

Send it to sallyg@baylismedia.co.uk by Friday, June 9.

We will then print all the photos in the Advertiser and on the Maidenhead Advertiser website and ask readers to vote for their favourite.

The winner will be the pet which polls the most votes.
