An outline application to build 32 new homes on land south of Kimber’s Lane features in this week’s public notices.

The Royal Borough has received an outline application for the development of 32 new homes on land between Badgers Wood and Spring Cottage, south of Kimber’s Lane.
The application is for access and layout to only be considered at this stage, with all other matters reserved.
According to the design and access statement, the proposed development would include 20 new three and fourbedroom family houses and 12 two-bedroom apartments, with a proposal of six new affordable apartments and four affordable family houses.
There will also be cycle stores for 24 bicycles, 14 car parking spaces, including a disabled parking space for the wheelchair accessible apartment and two visitor spaces.
Temporary road closures The Royal Borough intends to close part of the B3024 Twyford Road in Waltham St Lawrence between the boundaries of property Field House to motorists.
The proposed order is to facilitate the relaying of a leaking communication pipe and will be in force from 9.30am on Tuesday, April 2 to 4pm on Friday, April 5.
The alternative route for affected vehicles will be via B3024 Twyford Road, B3024 Waltham Road, Ruscombe Lane, B3024 Ruscombe Road, A3032 London Road, A321 Church Street, B3018 Waltham Road, B3018 The Straight Mile, B3018 Binfield Road, B3018 Twyford Road, B3018 Church Lane, B3018 Tilehurst Lane, B3034 Forest Road, A3095 Maidenhead Road, A330 Ascot Road, B3024 Paley Street, B3024 Littlefield Green, B3024 Broadmoor Road, B3024 Hurst Lane and B3024 Twyford Road.
Elsewhere, the council intends to close part of school lane to motorists from the southern boundary of the property Mountfield southward to its junction with Bigfrith Lane and along this part of Bigfrith Lane from the western boundary of the property Woodcote westward for 25 metres.
The proposed order is to facilitate a new sewer connection and shall be in operation from 8am on Tuesday, April 2 until 4pm on Friday, April 12.
The alternative route for those vehicle affected will be via Bigfrith Lane, Church Road, from Spring Lane to Bigfrith Lane and Bigfrith Lane.
