The Waterside’s street food scene

-

A new restaurant bringing the Mumbai street food scene to Maidenhead is set to open its doors in the Waterside Quarter this week.

Bombay Story will throw open its doors today (Friday)..

Situated next to the waterways, the new venue offers an insight into the world of Indian cuisine, with a host of dishes from street food to biryanis and curries to try.

The daily a la carte menu features a range of vegan dishes and vegetarian options.

The new eatery is the latest to open in the Waterside Quarter following the recent launch of ToMo Tankovna which opened last month.

This is founders Jey and Anita Sachchithanantham’s second restaurant opening, having already established a Bombay Story restaurant in Wokingham.

In a statement the pair, said: “Waterside Quarter was an obvious choice for our second restaurant thanks to its strong community feel and beautiful waterside location.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Bombay Story to Maidenhead and offering the very best food and service to our guests.

“We are keen for diners to try as many of our dishes as possible, as there is something to suit all tastebuds and a huge variety of authentic flavours on offer.

“We can’t wait to share Bombay Story with the Maidenhead community and meet our first customers.”

Guy Thomas, asset and property manager at Sorbon Estates, said: “We are delighted to welcome Bombay Story to Waterside Quarter as it brings a fresh offering to the eclectic mix of dining options already on offer.

“This stylish new restaurant will give diners the chance to experience authentic Indian food in the heart of Maidenhead’s buzzing waterside restaurant quarter.

“At Sorbon Estates, we are always looking for brands that will enhance the dynamic mix already in place at Waterside Quarter and we know that Bombay Story will be a popular and complementary addition.”
