The Sewer Map of Britain

Documentar­y investigat­ing the hidden secrets of one of our oldest, and most crucial, networks, the sewers. A tour of the latest solution – London’s Tideway Tunnel – reveals its staggering scale, a 16-mile-long storage tank to hide sewage beneath the river Thames. There is also a trip to Hadrian’s Wall to marvel at how the Romans handled the sewage issue almost 2,000 years ago. Mark Benton narrates.

As well as being a tragic story about the airship and its demise, it’s a tale of the sinister secrets of those in charge and their ties to the Nazi party.

When 60s TV Goes Horribly Wrong

Tony Blackburn narrates a compilatio­n of on-air disasters from the decade, including Doris Day’s blouse bursting open unexpected­ly and a candid interview with Muhammad Ali.
