COOKING WITH THE KIDS
GRILLED VEGGIE SANDWICH
INGREDIENTS:
4 English muffins, split and toasted
1 avocado, mashed
1 cup alfalfa sprouts
1 small tomato, chopped
1 small sweet onion, chopped 4tbsps ranch-style salad dressing
4tbsps toasted sesame seeds
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
METHOD:
1. Preheat oven grill. 2. Place each muffin openfaced on a baking tray.
3. Spread each half with mashed avocado; place halves close together.
4. Distributing ingredients evenly, cover each half with sprouts, tomatoes, onion, dressing, sesame seeds and cheese.
5. Place under grill for about five minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
