Twin models told ‘behave yourselves’ as Asbo lifted
TWIN teenage models who terrorised their neighbours with loud music and rowdy behaviour have had their ASBO lifted but have been warned to be on their best behaviour.
Taliah and Tiffany Sanderson, 19, were slapped with an interim Anti Social Behaviour Order after plaguing their neighbours with abusive language and loud music.
The order was imposed on the girls, who are signed to Manchester’s Top Model Management agency, by Stockport Magistrates Court in July.
They were told not to generate any music or loud noise between 8pm and 8am.
But the case is likely to be dropped as their mother is in the process of selling their family home on Windlehurst Road, High Lane.
The twins have moved into a new flat on Stockport Road, in Marple.
The interim order was set to expire at midnight last night and Stockport Magistrates Court decided not reimpose the order on them at a hearing.
Alex Bougatef, prosecuting on behalf of Stockport council, told the court officers were ‘content’ with the resolution, but warned that if any other antisocial behaviour took place the girls could be taken back to court.
The court heard the council and the girls’ legal team were working towards an ‘amicable and sensible resolution’.
A statement from the twins, released by their solicitor Simon Morton, read: “We are pleased to report that Tiffany and Taliah Sanderson, in conjunction with their legal team, have been working towards a positive resolution.
“The interim ASBO has been discharged and the proceedings have been adjourned to October 1 2015. It is hoped that on that date the proceedings can finally be withdrawn.”
The temporary ABSO imposed on the girls was intended to bring an end to a saga that neighbours claimed has been going on for seven years.
Tiffany and Taliah Sanderson leaving Stockport magistrates after an Asbo banning them from making any noise was dropped - the 19-year-old twins are thought to be set to be moving out of the home at the centre of the dispute
