MARCUS Rashford’s stoppage-time winner at Hull was the best feeling Luke Shaw has experienced on a football pitch.

United striker Rashford tapped in Wayne Rooney’s cross to clinch a fourth win out of four for Jose Mourinho and record just United’s second ‘Fergie time’ victory since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

United supporters poured onto the pitch as they mobbed Rashford and his team-mates, and the impressive Shaw was keen to savour the moment.

“I loved it,” Shaw told MUTV when asked about the winner. “I think, emotion-wise, that was the best I’ve felt ever on a pitch. I’m just so happy that we could get three points, not just for us but for the fans. They were unbelievable.

“It was an unreal feeling and even a few of the lads in there (dressing room) said it was like taking them back to the old days when they sometimes used to get those smash-and-grab wins.

“I loved it and hopefully there’s more to come.

“To have the fans celebrating with us made it even more special”

Shaw acknowledged Rashford and substitute Henrikh Mkhitaryan enhanced United’s attack as they searched for a winner.

“They changed the dynamic of the play,” explained Shaw, referring to the introduction of Rashford and Henrikh Mkhitaryan midway through the second half.

“They completely changed the whole game.

“Credit to the manager there for bringing on the subs.”
