Rash rents mum a £800k house
United wonderkid Rashford moves mum into luxury £5,000-a-month house
UNITED star Marcus Rashford has moved his mum into a plush new £800,000 home.
The young striker is reportedly paying £5,000 a MONTH to rent the upmarket pad in Hale.
The house boasts six bedrooms, huge bathrooms and a sauna in the garden.
It’s just three miles away from the council estate in Wythenshawe where the 18-year-old grew up.
The Reds striker - now earning £25,000-a-week - always promised to look after single mum Melanie and his family once he made it big. When Rashford scored on his England international debut, Melanie – who played football with her son when he was a child – said: “Of course I’ll be doing my best to help him stay grounded.
“We are doing a great job as a family to keep his feet on the ground.
“We don’t do champagne. But we are certainly celebrating Marcus’ achievement.”
The family’s new home is a modern six bed, four bathroom detached property arranged over three floors with a hall, dining kitchen, sitting room, lounge, media room, and utility room on the ground floor. On the first floor is a laundry room, a split-level master bedroom with dressing area and en suite shower rooms - as well as a private balcony.
A large double garage sits under the house and there is a sauna in the garden.
But the home is only a temporary measure for the family, which includes brothers Dwaine and Dane, who have moved in with mum Melanie.
Marcus, who came off the bench to score United’s injury-time winner against Hull City in the Premier League on Saturday, is having another £1m-plus home built at a ‘secret’ location nearby.
