Scores of people lay flowers and lit candles in tribute to the victims.

CHEADLE GREEN CHILDREN gathered in on Cheadle Green to release pink balloons into the sky on Wednesday night.

CHEADLE HULME AND BRAMHALL SMALL crowds gathered in Cheadle Hulme and Bramhall to pay their respects. The memorials were arranged by councillor­s and local churchs after youngsters expressed a wish to pay tribute to the young victims killed in the attack.

PRINCESS PARKWAY EVEN the railings and road signs on Princess Parkway have been adourned with Manchester tributes and ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ signs.

A Manchester bee painting has been hung from the Welcome to Manchester sign.

CHORLTON MANCHESTER Islamic High School for Girls gave out roses and collected donations on Thursday.

Pupils wanted to spread acts of kindness in the wake of Monday night’s horror attack. In a post on Facebook, a school spokesman said: “As part of the on-going random acts of kindness projects we have in school and under the current climate, pupils were giving out roses in Chorlton with the message “I Love Manchester.”

“Pupils thoroughly enjoyed giving out the roses and receiving smiles and hugs in return.”

ROCHDALE PUPILS at Wardle Academy in Rochdale formed a heart on their playing field in tributes to the victims. Flowers were laid in Middleton Gardens on Thursday night as a show of support for those killed in the attack.

RUSHOLME SHAHJALAL Mosque Manchester held a multifaith vigil and prayer for the victims and their families. Hundreds of people gathered at the Mosque courtyard to pay their respects yesterday afternoon.
