Shock as Chanelle gets boot from BB
SHE had been favourite to WIN this year’s Big Brother – so it was something of a shock to see Manchester’s Chanelle McCleary voted off the reality show at the weekend. Blackley lingerie model Chanelle had won an army of fans with her flamboyant and outspoken style in the Channel 5 reality TV show house – which led her to become the bookies’ favourite to win.
But she became the 9th person to leave the house on Friday night, in a trio of evictions after the latest public vote, a week ahead of the grand final.
She left in a daring, barely there lacy outfit showing off her curves, to be greeted with a standing ovation from the crowds before Big Brother host Emma Wilils started her eviction interview. But her raunchy jumpsuit was causing Chanelle something of a headache – as it appeared to fall apart as she was leaving the house. She joked to host Emma: “It’s a good job the tassels were there to hide it!” Emma asked Chanelle if she’s surprised she was nominated. “I knew that it would be literally everyone, apart from my four people”, she replied. Emma went on to ask if she still thought Chanelle McCleary the remaining housemates were twofaced. Speaking of the nomination from Ellie: “The Ellie thing shocked me. I gave her so much advice. We’ve cried to each other. We’ve had such heart-to-hearts. I did think we were friends”
Part-time lingerie model and care assistant Chanelle had entered the Big Brother house with something of a head start on some of the other contestants with her reality TV experiences.
For she has already appeared on a host of reality TV shows including MTV’s Ex on the Beach, Channel 4’s Dinner Date, ITV’s Take Me Out and Sky’s Dating in the Dark.
Isabelle Warburton has now been installed as the new bookies’ favourite after the shock departure of Chanelle and Ellie from the show.
The live final of Big Brother will be on Friday at 9pm on Channel 5.
