Eight arrests over £1m drugs haul
EIGHT men have been arrested after police recovered £1million worth of Class A drugs in Rochdale.
Officers carried out dawn raids in Rochdale, Lancashire, West Yorkshire and Staffordshire as part of an investigation into drug supply in Rochdale.
During the course of the investigation, police recovered 14kg of Class A drugs, with an estimated street value of £1m.
They also recovered £80,000 in cash.
The eight men, aged 21 to 37, were in custody after being arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Greater Manchester Police are continuing to make enquiries into the possession and distribution of controlled drugs.
