Chance to get in early for Kendal Calling...

-

TICKETS for this year’s Kendal Calling festival did, as per usual, sell out quickly.

So although it may seem a long way off yet, now is definitely a sensible time to start planning for next year’s festival.

The first batch of Kendal Calling 2019 tickets went on sale yesterday, under a 12-month payment plan, where the initial payment is a mere £12.

The weekend tickets entitle you to three days and nights camping at the iconic Lake District site Lowther Deer Park.

Next year the festival will run from Friday, July 26, to Sunday, July 28, though you can add on a Thursday ticket if you want to get a head start.

Capacity will remain the same next year, so it’s looking very likely that tickets will vanish quickly again.

For this year’s festival, all tickets had been snapped up within three weeks of the line-up being announced.

This year was the 13th in a row that the festival has sold out thanks to an impressive line-up that includes Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Libertines and Run DMC.

In previous years, headliners have included Stereophonics, Elbow, James, Snoop Dogg and The Charlatans.

As usual, there’ll be a camp site to suit everyone next year, including the Wolf Wood site for those looking for a lively, non-stop festival, through to The Shire, which is a more relaxed field that might actually allow for some shut-eye.

If you’re itching to attend this year’s festival, there will be one last chance to grab tickets on Tuesday, July 3, when the resale takes place at 10am.
