Tow­ers build­ing starts next month

DE­VEL­OP­ERS are push­ing ahead with a £48m Corn­brook apart­ment com­plex.

The scheme on Bridge­wa­ter Way, near Corn­brook Metrolink Sta­tion, will con­sist of two tow­ers of 16 and 19 storeys, fea­tur­ing 363 one-and two-be­d­room homes along with du­plex and town­house apart­ments.

There will also be rooftop gar­dens, co-work­ing space, a li­brary, gym, and res­i­dent lounge ar­eas.

Liver­pool-based de­vel­oper Brick­land is car­ry­ing out en­abling works and is ex­pected to start on site in Novem­ber with com­ple­tion sched­uled for au­tumn 2020.

It is be­ing funded by global real es­tate in­vestor Heit­man, which is also work­ing with LIV Group, the build-to-rent op­er­a­tor and con­sul­tancy on the project.

Tony Smed­ley, Heit­man MD said: “We are de­lighted to com­plete this ac­qui­si­tion in part­ner­ship with LIV, a best-in-class op­er­a­tor and the ex­pe­ri­enced de­vel­op­ment team at Brick­land.”

Sam Row­lands, CEO of Brick­land, said: “We are bring­ing for­ward ex­em­plar pri­vate rental schemes.”
