Towers building starts next month
DEVELOPERS are pushing ahead with a £48m Cornbrook apartment complex.
The scheme on Bridgewater Way, near Cornbrook Metrolink Station, will consist of two towers of 16 and 19 storeys, featuring 363 one-and two-bedroom homes along with duplex and townhouse apartments.
There will also be rooftop gardens, co-working space, a library, gym, and resident lounge areas.
Liverpool-based developer Brickland is carrying out enabling works and is expected to start on site in November with completion scheduled for autumn 2020.
It is being funded by global real estate investor Heitman, which is also working with LIV Group, the build-to-rent operator and consultancy on the project.
Tony Smedley, Heitman MD said: “We are delighted to complete this acquisition in partnership with LIV, a best-in-class operator and the experienced development team at Brickland.”
Sam Rowlands, CEO of Brickland, said: “We are bringing forward exemplar private rental schemes.”
