/THE BEST OF MANCHESTER

-

It’s often overlooked, but Salvi’s has been quietly knocking out some of the best pizza in Manchester for some time. The family behind the independent Italian restaurant group recently rebranded their Rosticceria restaurant on John Dalton Street to become Salvi’s Pizzeria Napoletana, giving their pizza prowess the attention it deserves. Dough is prepared the traditional Neapolitan way and topped with ingredients flown in weekly from Italy, including mozzarella di bufala made and sent over by owner Maurizio’s brother in Naples. Diners will also find treats like calzone fritto, stuffed potato croquettes and pasta frittata.
