Call for Grief Awareness Day
MORE than 80,000 people have signed a petition which calls for grief to be recognised with its own awareness day.
Professor Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, has launched the campaign for a National Grief Awareness Day to remember those we have lost.
The rapper was 24 when his father took his own life and Green has since gone one to talk openly about dealing with losing a loved one.
Alongside singer Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Green has released new song Photographs, which he dedicates to his dad, emotionally explains how he wishes he had more photographs of the two of them together. The 35-year-old has also inspired others to post their images on Instagram in a bid to open up the conversation on grief.
