Reds ace fined for speeding in Merc

UNITED star Nemanja Matic has been fined after being caught speeding in his Mercedes.

The 30-year-old was handed a £220 fine and three penalty points by Manchester magistrates after admitting doing 37mph in a 30mph zone on Princess Road.

Matic was snapped in his Mercedes as he drove through the temporary 30mph zone close to the junction with Mauldeth Road West on April 22.

The midfielder, who has been capped 46 times by Serbia, was also ordered to pay £220 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge after admitting a charge of speeding. Matic didn’t appear in court for the short hearing.
