Three strikes you’re out! Towed car has no tax, insurance or MOT

-

A PARENT’S car was towed away by police during the school run – because it had no tax, insurance or MOT.

Another was given a warning after officers spotted kids in their car without seatbelts.

It came as police patrolled near Meanwood Primary School in Rochdale in a crackdown on poor parking.

GMP Rochdale posted a pictured of a blue Citroen C4 being towed away alongside the message: “The Spotland and Falinge officers were out this morning at Meanwood School to ensure parents were parking responsibly.

“We seized the below vehicle for no tax, insurance and MOT.

“Another driver was reported for not having children in child seats/seatbelts.

“In both cases, the drivers could see nothing wrong with their behaviour!”
