Driver caught do­ing 123mph ‘wanted ke­bab’

BIZARRE EX­PLA­NA­TION OF MO­TORIST WITH NO LI­CENCE OR IN­SUR­ANCE

A MAN caught speed­ing at 123mph told of­fi­cers that he was rush­ing be­cause he wanted a ke­bab from Manch­ester.

The driver was stopped af­ter be­ing clocked on the M62 by traf­fic cops at al­most dou­ble the na­tional speed limit.

When ques­tioned by of­fi­cers, it emerged that he not only did not have in­sur­ance for the ve­hi­cle – but also did not have a driv­ing li­cence. Shar­ing the bizarre in­ci­dent, the Roads Polic­ing Unit wrote on so­cial me­dia: “Car clocked at 123mph on the M62. Driver stated he was speed­ing as he wanted a ke­bab from Manch­ester... he for­got to men­tion that he didn’t have a li­cence or in­sur­ance, and the de­tails he gave were his brother’s. Fin­ger­prints don’t lie! #CourtSum­mons.”
