- By PAUL BRITTON

UNITED star Marcus Rashford’s brother was taken to hospital after he was attacked and robbed by a gun-toting gang in a Moss Side cafe, according to reports.

Dane Rashford, Marcus’s older brother, was said to be with Tyler Alexander-Arnold, brother of Liverpool defender Trent AlexanderArnold, at the time.

He was also injured and taken to hospital – and the gang of three men reportedly escaped with his white Range Rover.

The friends were left bloodied and bruised, but police said their injuries were not thought to be serious. A police cordon was put up around the Littlerock Caribbean takeaway and restaurant on Princess Road after the incident.

Officers said the gang of three were armed with a suspected shotgun, a machete and a baseball bat.

They stormed inside the restaurant at 10.30am on Saturday, threatened people inside and demanded they hand over personal belongings and car keys. A white BMW 3-series Supt Mark Dexter was also taken and the gang escaped with Dane Rashford’s watch, according to reports. Four men and two teenagers were arrested and questioned on suspicion of robbery.

Supt Mark Dexter said: “Thankfully no one was seriously injured, but the victims have been left understandably shaken following this incident. It is thanks to the swift action of our officers that we now have six men in custody, but this investigation is still very much ongoing.”

Shortly after the robbery the Range Rover was found on Bowland Drive in Fallowfield.
