Singer is un­ex­pected TV star

A SINGER found her­self as the un­ex­pected star on Michael McIn­tyre’s Big Show.

Rachel Crowe, from Bolton, wowed the au­di­ence with a ren­di­tion of Jennifer Rush’s The Power Of Love on the BBC show, af­ter be­ing duped into go­ing to Lon­don to visit the fic­ti­tious Mu­seum of Hu­man­ity.

All the tourists in the ‘in­ter­ac­tive ex­hibit’ mu­seum were all pre­vi­ous un­ex­pected stars of the show in­clud­ing Paige Pad­den, who ap­peared in the Christ­mas spe­cial to mark the fi­nal show of the se­ries.

The 26-year-old was sur­prised by the comic in a mu­seum when he jumped out of a sar­coph­a­gus.

When the au­di­ence was re­vealed, a gob­s­macked Rachel said: “I’m a bit over­whelmed.”

Rachel chose to sing the big bal­lad, which holds a spe­cial place in her heart. Be­fore her per­for­mance, said: “It re­minds me a bit of my dad, who has passed away.
