Corrie Tina’s snaps from her honeymoon
THEY said “I do” during a romantic New Year’s Eve ceremony and after the wedding Tina O’Brien and Adam Crofts headed to the Lake District on honeymoon. The Coronation Street star and her husband booked into the luxurious resort Gilpin Hotel and Lake House, near Lake Windemere.
The resort boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant, lake views, outdoor hot tubs and a spa.
Sharing photos from their break, the Sarah Platt actress said on her Instagram: “Throw back to this time last week minimooning with my husband@adamcrofts. What a trip.”
One photo showed newlywed Tina soaking in the bath, another showed her toasting their future together with a glass of champagne in front of a roaring fire.
Another showed the happy couple holding hands on a dinner date.
Tina wed personal trainer Adam Crofts in an intimate ceremony at the King Street Townhouse hotel.
The wedding was attended by Tina’s castmates including Jack P Shepherd, who plays her brother David, Lucy Fallon who plays her daughter Bethany, Helen Worth who plays her mum Gail Rodwell and Alison King, who plays her boss Carla Connor in the ITV1 soap.
Julia Goulding, who plays Shona Ramsey, Colson Smith (Craig Tinker) and Sair Khan (Alya Nazir) also attended.
Tina and Adam’s four-year-old son Beau and her daughter Scarlett, 10, from her relationship with former Corrie actor Ryan Thomas, played a part in the ceremony with Beau acting as ring bearer.
Adam, global business developer for the personal training company UP Fitness, proposed to Tina in May 2016.
The couple met after Scarlett approached Adam when mother and daughter were in a branch of Starbucks and said “hello, man.”
Last month Tina headed to Tenerife with her closest friends on a break she called ‘Henarife’ , sharing snaps on her Instagram account including one of her carrying a ‘The Future Mrs Crofts’ tote bag.
Tina has played motherof-two Sarah since 1999. After leaving the cobbles in 2007 when Sarah moved to Milan with daughter Bethany, she rejoined the show in 2015.
Her character has had a turbulent time since returning including her relationship with drug dealer Callum Logan, who was killed by sister-in-law Kylie Platt after she walked in on him attacking Sarah.
Haunted by the memory of Callum’s murder Sarah later developed postpartum psychosis after having his baby, named Harry.
