Front-running mare is tipped for another win

-

RINGARINGAROSIE is all set for another successful raid on Sedgefield tomorrow.

Martin Todhunter’s frontrunning handicapper is a three-time winner this season - including twice at this track, which suits her running style.

She is capable of throwing in the occasional moderate run, but was at her most convincing when dispatching Instant Replay over slightly further here last month.

The subsequent six-week break is unusual for the busy mare, and she should therefore be freshened up ideally for the Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Novices’ Handicap Chase.

Ringaringarosie will be running off a career-high mark in a better grad, but she again has the assistance of talented claimer Danny McMenamin and in receipt of weight all round, the partnership may take some catching again after clicking so well last time.

La Cavsa Nostra got rid of jockey Sam Whaley-Cohen early in their first association at Warwick.

They were well-backed favourites there, though, and La Cavsa Nostra has an obvious opportunity to make amends in the MansionBet Faller Insurance Chase.

His Warwick spill excepted, the former Irish point winner has taken well to chasing for his new connections, and made a mockery of his 16-1 starting price with a wide-margin Chepstow victory on his first start of the season.

A 10lb rise for that performance should be no bar to further success, and it is easy to see him progressing up the ranks if avoiding mishap - starting off a low weight here.

● There are no flat meetings in the UK tomorrow, which is why there are no racecards in today’s M.E.N. Sport.
