Lauren wants Housewives return
REAL Housewives of Cheshire fans will be excited to hear that Lauren Simon is up for making a comeback to the hit reality series.
Lauren, who left the show last year after series eight, looked stunning in a faux fur jacket at the launch of Allumi candles at Manchester Hall.
Mingling with fellow VIP guests at the event, including fellow Real Housewives star Darby Ward, Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien, glamour model Rhian Sugden and Hollyoaks actor Kieron Richardson, she said she’d ‘love’ to go back to the show that shot her to fame in 2015.
She said: “I’ve been watching Housewives this season. I would love to go back, let’s see what happens.”
In a tell-all interview with the M.E.N. this summer, Lauren said she decided to leave the show while going through divorce proceedings following the breakdown of her marriage to property millionaire businessman Paul Simon.
The mother-of-two resolved to get herself in the best shape physically and mentally while going through the divorce.
Lauren, who has two daughters with Paul, separated from her husband in 2016 and says she was breaking down in tears while filming Real Housewives .
She told us: “If I hadn’t had the support from my family and my close friends I don’t think I’d still be standing.
“I needed to take time out and actually look after me. If I’m not well how can I look after my family?”
Actress Tina, who plays Sarah Platt in Corrie, took time out from the drama of the cobbles to enjoy a festive night out.
“It’s so nice to have a festive night out even though it is November,” she said.
“Great to catch up with old friends and have a cocktail.”
