HUNDREDS of screaming fans headed to the Arndale for the official opening of a new make-up store.
Fans queued around the Manchester shopping centre to see Manchester make-up artists Mmmmitchell and Paige as the social media sensations launched the new Morphe store on the ground floor.
The US make-up brand has opened its first Manchester store in the Arndale, taking over what was previously Clinton Cards, and beauty influencers Mmmmitchell and Paige were thrilled to perform the official ribbon cutting.
They also held a meet-and-greet with 250 competition winners in their home city.
Paige, whose full name is Paige Louise Williams, kick-started her own make-up empire with a £5,000 loan and earned £6m in her first year thanks to her cult £10 eye base which claims to keep eyeshadow in place without caking or creasing.
The former Fairfield High School pupil previously worked as a cashier for MAC in Selfridges at the Trafford Centre.
The make-up guru, from Droylsden, who has more than 200,000 Instagram followers, also launched the P. Louise Makeup Academy in Denton in 2014.
Mitchell, from Bolton, was a member of a boyband that made it to the bootcamp stage on the X Factor in 2016 and a year later he landed a spot starring on the US reality show American Beauty
Star and was mentored by Beyonce’s make-up artist Sir John. He now travels the world hosting make-up masterclasses and has more than a million Instagram followers.
At the launch, Mitchell let Paige do the honours and cut the ribbon on her own.
And she said on Instagram about the moment: “Today was the biggest moment of my career.”
