Manchester Evening News - - NEWS -

FRIENDS and family of a boy who died suddenly have paid tribute to him.

Martin Sullivan, 15, passed away at Tameside Hospital. He was in Year 11 at Great Academy Ashton and described as a talented musician.

His heartbroken sister Rebecca said Martin, pictured above, had the passion and drive to ‘become a star’.

Exams at the school were temporarily postponed as a mark of respect.

Principal Jenny Langley described Martin as a ‘loyal and loving friend’ whose ‘kindness and courage will be missed’.

She said: “Martin was a truly lovely young man whose kindness and courage will be missed.

“He was a loyal and loved friend whose humour, wit and positivity will be remembered by all who knew him.”
