UNITED’S LATE CALL ON MAC AND POGBA

Manchester Evening News - - FRONT PAGE - By SAMUEL LUCKHURST

UNITED are unlikely to decide whether Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba are fit to face Tottenham until the 11th hour.

Pogba and McTominay are both close to returning from ankle injuries and United have felt the loss of both players in recent draws with promoted teams Sheffield United and Aston Villa. “Still got two days,” Solskjaer said of Pogba and McTominay. “We need to look at everyone here as well, let’s see.

“Hopefully we can see one of them on the pitch but they’re working hard behind the scenes.”

United have won just four of their 14 Premier League matches this campaign and enter a daunting week, with the visit of Spurs tomorrow before the Manchester derby at the Etihad on Saturday.
