Reptile enjoys trip on tram
PASSENGERS heading towards Eccles were left slightly distracted from their normal Metrolink routine by a reptile.
The large lizard hadn’t taken up a seat, and was instead comfortably perched on the head of its presumed owner.
It seemed to alarm a number of passengers who were said to have ‘leapt out of their seats’ after spotting the animal.
Passenger Russ Booth tweeted: “Just a bloke with a live lizard on his head on the Metrolink. Welcome to Manchester.”
He added: “There were loads of people taking pictures and laughing but the guy seemed totally oblivious.”
The lizard sat on the man’s head
