BEST OF THE REST
GIRI/HAJI
BBC2, 9PM
IT’S the final episode of this stylish, inventive international thriller – and the stakes are seriously high.
Yuto is planning to return to Tokyo, but everything changes when he gets a call from Jiro saying he has Taki and will throw her off a rooftop unless Yuto hands himself in.
He decides to do the right thing and races with Kenzo to save her, but an angry and vengeful Abbot (Charlie Creed-Miles) is waiting to confront them. He still wants Yuto’s head, and so they make a deal.
Sarah’s secretly watching on, and when she sees Abbot force Kenzo into a car she decides to follow.
With everyone on the rooftop, it’s a tense and emotional scene as they find themselves in a stand-off, and Yuto must decide whether he will become the killer his brother tried to save him from, or sacrifice his freedom for the good of his family.
CELEBRITY DOGS BEHAVING (VERY) BADLY FOR HELP THE ANIMALS
CHANNEL 5, 8PM
DOG trainer Graeme Hall attempts to help three stars whose pets are giving them grief.
First stop is Essex, where Denise van Outen’s pampered pooch Tilly actually gets fed via a silver spoon.
Denise and boyfriend Eddie are concerned that the French bulldog’s habit of running out of the door whenever she gets the chance will leave her a casualty of the high street.
Graeme also meets rescue saluki Poppy, whose fear of other dogs is stressing out Russell Watson and wife Louise.
Graeme’s final case is Staffordshire bull terrier Ronnie, whose owner is ex-England striker Michael Owen.
Ronnie has attacked other hounds before and Michael is concerned about the consequences if his pet attacks again.
