Manchester Evening News - - SPORT - LEAGUE ONE

TEENAGER Aaron Morley gave Rochdale a 1-0 win over Rotherham in League One.

The victory ended a run of five league defeats for Brian Barry-Murphy’s men.

The 42nd-minute strike from the 19-year-old against the play-off hopefuls moved Dale up to 16th.

Ipswich missed the chance to put pressure on Sky Bet League One leaders Wycombe as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Coventry.

Wycombe had a week off due to Bury being expelled, which gave Paul Lambert’s side a chance to cut five-point deficit on the Chairboys.

But they could not fully capitalise as they drew their third successive league match.

The Tractor Boys took the initiative just after the half-hour mark after Will Keane headed home Alan Judge’s corner.

However, Coventry secured a point when Maxime Biamou latched on to a through ball from Liam Kelly before slotting home in the 56th minute.

Blackpool moved up to fourth in the table with a 3-1 success against Fleetwood in the Fylde coast derby.

Liam Feeney’s first goal for the club put Blackpool ahead after 11 minutes with a low effort into the bottom corner.

The hosts doubled their advantage when Sullay Kaikai found the top corner with a free-kick in the 47th minute, while Armand Gnanduillet made it 3-0 with a thumping header. Conor McAleny grabbed a late consolation for Fleetwood.
