Manchester Evening News - - NEWS -

THREE people miraculously escaped from the mangled wreckage of a car after it smashed into a tree and overturned.

The Volkswagen T-Roc was so badly damaged that the boot was completely folded in half, the suspension arm was ripped off and the roof came apart.

Now police in Stockport are keen to trace the people who were involved in the crash as they are likely to be badly injured. Officers were called to Bramhall Park Road, a quiet residential street in the leafy suburb of Bramhall, at around 1.50am yesterday.

Eyewitnesses had seen the driver speeding along the road before the crash. They then saw three people leaving the car.

An investigation was launched and police discovered the car had been stolen during a burglary. Witnesses can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
