Police in appeal after gunman fires outside pub
A GUNMAN opened fire outside a Salford pub.
A single shot was fired – making it the 16th shooting in the city this year.
The incident was outside The Winston on Churchill Way in Pendleton, last Thursday, but police only just released details.
It came just two weeks after a gunman opened fire at a taxi firm in Eccles town centre.
In a statement GMP said: “Police are appealing for more information after a firearms discharge on Churchill Way in Salford on Thursday, December 19.
“Local residents have reported that at around 8pm a shot was fired outside The Winston pub on Churchill Way in Salford.
