Celebrities’ Xmas selfies

WE weren’t the only ones bagsying a place on the sofa to watch the Gavin and Stacey Christmas special. A host of stars have been sharing their Christmas on Instagram with fans.

Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas enjoyed a family Christmas with his fiancee pregnant Lucy Mecklenburgh.

He tried out a Tom Ford face mask while settling down to watch the sitcom Gavin and Stacey for the first time.

“Waiting for Gavin and Stacey. I’ve never seen an episode in my life,” he said through the mud mask.

Ryan, who played Jason Grimshaw in Corrie, also dressed up as an elf, and he posed for a photo in front of the Christmas tree with former The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy.

“Can’t wait for our little man to be here next Christmas,” she wrote.

Also in fancy dress for the big day was former Corrie and Strictly Come Dancing star Catherine Tyldesley, who dressed up as a Christmas pudding alongside her husband Tom Pitfield, who was an elf, and their four-year-old son Alfie who was a mini Christmas tree.

“Merry Christmas from us,” wrote Cath who played Eva Price in Corrie with a love-heart emoji.”

Lucy Fallon, whose Corrie character Bethany Platt was at the centre of the soap drama on Christmas Day as the Platt family were caught up in a siege on the cobbles, was all smiles away from Weatherfield as she spent the day with her boyfriend Tom Leech and her family.

She then confessed to her man via Instagram stories that she hadn’t packed a thing yet for their festive break in New York.

“We are going to New York tomorrow morning (let that sink in) and I haven’t packed a single thing,” she wrote.

Lucy didn’t let her need to pack stand in the way of having a bit of a dance in a hat to Frank Sinatra’s New York, New York to get in the mood for their trip.

Katie McGlynn, who has been starring in Peter Pan in Northwich after her character Sinead Osbourne tragically died in Corrie, shared a snap of herself with her mum on Christmas Day.

She also posted a clip of her hand holding up the rude game Cards Against Humanity.

Wayne Rooney and Coleen

Rooney posed with their four sons, Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass, who were dressed up and looking smart wearing matching snazzy jumpers to their dad.

The proud parents both shared the snap on their social media.

“Merry Christmas everyone,” tweeted Wayne with Christmas tree, Santa and love heart emojis.

Former Corrie star Georgia May Foote was also proud of her Christmas jumper as she showed it off in a Instagram video with her rapper boyfriend Kris Evans.

Kate and Rio Ferdinand went on their annual Christmas holiday to the Maldives with his children Lorenz, Tate, and Tia.

And Kate revealed that one of Rio’s sons had suffered a broken arm, but they weren’t letting it stand in the way of their fun on the beach.

In the family snap, to replicate the one they shared last year of them all on the beach, he could be seen raising his arm in a blue cast.

Former TOWIE star Kate wrote: “No handstands this year as we have a broken arm. Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you have all had a fabulous day, lots of love.”

Manchester boxer and Love Island star Tommy Fury was recently mocked for sharing his ‘bland’ chicken dinner on social media and he couldn’t resist sharing his Christmas dinner, complete with all the trimmings, on Instagram as he posed in a paper party hat.

And Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan, who plays Rosie Webster, and her fiance Scott Sinclair took their daughters Matilda and Delilah to see Santa at a woodland experience near Glasgow.
