Ap­peal over ‘abuse’ on train

AN ap­peal has been launched af­ter a man ver­bally abused other pas­sen­gers and made ho­mo­pho­bic com­ments on a train.

Trav­ellers on a train to Manch­ester Pic­cadilly saw an ‘in­tox­i­cated’ man be­ing ver­bally abu­sive to other pas­sen­gers.

Bri­tish Trans­port Po­lice have re­leased an im­age of a man they wish to speak to in con­nec­tion with the in­ci­dent.

The com­ments were made dur­ing the jour­ney, be­tween 11.30am and 3.15pm on Satur­day, Novem­ber 23.

The man left the train at Manch­ester Pic­cadilly.
