AN inquest is due to open into the death of a 20-year-old model at a city centre hotel
Caitlin O’Reilly died following a night out with friends in Manchester.
As the Manchester Evening News reported Take That star Robbie Williams paid a poignant tribute to Caitlin in a special Christmas Day message.
Caitlin, who died on Sunday, August 18, at the Premier Inn at Manchester Central, was the daughter of one of Robbie’s close friends from Staffordshire.
Now grieving relatives are waiting for an inquest date to be set following her death, reports Stokeon Tren tLive.
A Manchester Coroner’s Court spokesman said: “A post-mortem examination has taken place. We are still waiting for some of the reports. Once we receive the additional information a date will be set for an inquest.”
Police were called to the Premier Inn at Manchester Central on Lower Mosley Street at around 8.10am on Sunday, August 18.
Caitlin’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
A GMP spokesman said: “Police were called to the Premier Inn to reports that the body of a woman had been found. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.”
Caitlin’s death received worldwide exposure on Christmas Day when a heart-wrenching message from her dad, Pete, was shared by Robbie. In a message to his 2.57 million Twitter followers, Robbie wrote: “Caitlin Nicole O’Reilly was a beautiful 20-year-old girl with her whole life ahead of her.”
