Manchester Evening News - - LETTERS, COMMENTS AND EMAILS -

I am cataloguing an archive of the Irish in Britain Representation Group during the period 1981-2003.

The completed archive will be added to the Irish Collection at the

Working Class Movement Library in Salford. The IBRG was a national organisation that was created in 1981 to represent Irish born, second and third generation Irish. Branches existed across the country and campaigned on issues ranging from anti-Irish racism, culture, and the conflict in the North of Ireland.

If any of your readers were members active in the organisation, they can contact me at Lipsticksocial[email protected] Bernadette Hyland
