Revolution enjoys ‘record sales’ over festive period
THE group behind bar brands Revolution and Revolucion de Cuba achieved ‘record sales’ over the Christmas period.
Ashton-under-Lyne-headquartered Revolution Bars Group, which operates 74 bars, saw like-for-like sales in the four weeks to December 31 increase four per cent compared to the same period the previous year, with weekly sales of individual venues averaging £65,000. The group also saw total revenue for the first half to December 28 rise 3.4pc to £81.2m, up from £78.5m for the same period in 2019.
Like-for-like sales for the first half rose 1.2pc.
Chief executive Rob Pitcher said: “I am delighted with our Christmas trading and the steady improvement in our like-for-like sales performance.”
